Hi Jannette!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I'm so happy to help you as you prepare to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort and this year is a great time to visit. You'll be able to enjoy the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, as well as a wide variety of new attractions and entertainment experiences throughout the theme parks. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest announcements about the magic you can enjoy during your trip!
When upgrading tickets to add days to your visit or add additional entitlements, you will be required to pay the difference between the original purchase price of your tickets and the new ticket you would like to use. Since the purchase price of complimentary tickets is zero, complimentary tickets are not eligible for any upgrades. Also, in general,
standard theme park tickets cannot be upgraded or transferred to tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So, unfortunately, you won't be able to use your complimentary ticket to visit the party.
You'll still be able to celebrate autumn in the theme parks using your complimentary tickets, even if you aren't attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You'll find beautiful fall decorations along Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. My favorites are the carved pumpkins in the windows that are themed to match the shops. I also recommend that you visit EPCOT to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival to sample tasty treats and beverages from around the world!
Jannette, let us know if we can help you plan your visit to the "Most Magical Place on Earth." T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
