    Hi, just ended our family vacation on 8/6/18. We stayed at the art of animation resort. We loved it . Am a single mom of 5 and would love to bring the kids at least twice a year. Summer time and Christmas time. Is it a good idea to do DVC? And how? No clue

    It's great to hear you and your little Mouseketeers loved your Walt Disney World vacation. As a Disney Vacation Club Member for 12 years with Home Resorts at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and  Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, I can say that yes, Disney Vacation Club is a great idea for us. My family has really enjoyed each of our Disney Vacation Club experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney's Hilton Head Resort, and Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Disney Vacation Club presents so many unique vacation opportunities and such a variety of experiences that we can always enjoy something new and different on each vacation.

    In simple terms, Disney Vacation Club is a Vacation Ownership Program that gives you Home Resort Vacation Points. You use your points to stay at your Home Resort, other Disney Vacation Club Resorts and Disney destinations, or even vacation outside of Disney. You have lots of flexibility in how you use your points to best meet your vacation needs. I find that the variety of resort locations and accommodation sizes, the at-home comforts, the Member benefits and perks, and the wonderful amenities make a Disney Vacation Club stay something special.

    I think the best way to get started is to explore Disney Vacation Club Membership. You can visit one of the Preview Centers on your next trip to Walt Disney World, or you can even arrange a convenient virtual tour from your home.
