From which end of the park does the afternoon parade start in August '12-Maint St or Frntland? Have a 5pm rez at Neverland club, where would be a good spot to watch the parade so after we can quickly exit park? How long is parade & do crowds linger?

    Hi Rebekah,

The afternoon parade almost always starts on Main Street and winds it's way through Frontierland.  You can check with cast members when you arrive at the park.  They'll be able to tell you if there is going to be a change for that day.  Regardless, I think watching the parade close to Town Square on Main Street is your best bet.  You'll be able to exit the park as soon as the parade passes by.  The whole parade is only about 12 minutes long, so even if it were to start at Frontierland, it would be completely done before 4:00 - giving you plenty of time to get to Neverland Club.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
