Hi, Stephen!
My toddlers love riding the
Walt Disney World Railroad. It is definitely a treat to be able to get from one side of the park to the other while hearing the story of how this magical theme park became to be.
If you are not in a big hurry, taking a ride on the rails is the perfect way to see the park and make your way from Fantasyland to Frontierland. Once you arrive at the train station in Fantasyland, there may be a wait before boarding the steam train. The line may be long, or your wait for the train may be, as well. Also, before arriving in Frontierland, you make a stop on Main Street before making it to Frontierland.
If you are in a bit of a hurry, take a walk through Fantasyland into Frontierland. Your walk from one side of the theme park to the other will take about 10 minutes, maybe a little longer depending on the crowd level.
So, if you're trying to beat the crowd of those who didn't have
Extra Magic Hour access, walking is your best option. Be sure to have your My Disney Experience app handy, as step-by-step directions can be accessed on your mobile app!
Happy planning!
Korliss
