Going end of May 2018 with our 2-1/2 year old daughter who loves animals. Should we stay at AKL savannah view or YC? Concern about location with AKL - will have car. AKL is there a big view difference cl vs regular room?

    Hello Nicholas!

We're honored to have you stop by and ask us another great question. I personally love to see that you are well into planning your vacation for next year. It's never too early to begin putting the pieces together and planning the magic.

My family loves both of these resorts. In fact, we were literally just debating between the two for our next adventure to the Walt Disney World Resort. While we love being able to walk into Epcot from Disney's Yacht Club Resort, ultimately we chose Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge because it feels like a vacation in a vacation. When you leave the hustle and bustle of the parks and you're ready for some resort time Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge offers you just that and in the most serene and breathtaking location. While your animal-loving daughter will surely adore it, I think it will also be rewarding for your whole family. No where else can you wake up to savanna animals out your windows and visit Mickey in the afternoon or sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the savanna after a pixie-dusted day. While it is farther away from the theme parks, it's never been very noticeable and I've found the reward to be worth it. Club Level offers wonderful amenities, but you can find a comparable view with a standard savanna view room.

Have a magical vacation, Nicholas, and please let us know if we can be of any further help in your planning.
