Hey there, hi there, ho there, Joyce! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Thank you so very much for stopping by with your question!
If you'd like to head to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa after a fun-filled day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you're welcome to hop on a bus by the entrance of the Theme Park.
Disney buses are complimentary, and you'll be safely whisked away from one point to the other. Once you've left the park, keep right until you come across the Disney bus board. Now, simply locate the Grand Floridian's bus number, head to the designated bus stop, and wait for your driver to pull up.
Joyce, I would like to point out that it's always best to leave about 90 minutes in advance, since you'll need to consider the time that it takes most buses to arrive, the travel time between Animal Kingdom and the Grand Floridian, and the time it'll take you to walk from the bus stop to the marina once you've arrived. In addition to this,
Specialty Cruises require you to arrive one hour and 15 minutes before your reservation, so make sure to add this to your allotted travel time. For example, if your cruise is set to depart from the Grand Floridian marina at 9:00 p.m., you'll need to check in at 7:45 p.m. This means that you'll need to leave the park around 6:00 to make sure you'll be there right on time.
If you don't want to wait for a Disney bus to take you to your destination, you can always request a
Minnie Van from the Lyft app! This service is not complimentary, however, so please keep that in mind in case you'd like to stick to a particular budget. I hope this helps, Joyce! If you have any other questions for us, you know where to find us. Have a magical day!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
