Hi! If we have to end up canceling our vacation, will our full package be refunded? Or just the hotel portion? We bought the hotel/them park tickets together.

Hi there Allison, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm sorry to hEAR you're thinking of canceling your upcoming vacation, but if there's one thing we all understand after the past year, it's the importance of flexible travel plans, and I have always appreciated Disney's generous cancelation policies

Since you booked a vacation package that bundles your resort room and theme park admission, you are eligible for a full refund of the entire package price as long as you cancel before final payment is due, at least 30 days ahead of your scheduled check-in date. You can either cancel your vacation package online or by calling (407) 939-5277.

If you have a future time in mind that you'd like to travel, you can also modify the package to a later date and pay any differences the adjustment might incur. Last year, friends of mine moved their 2020 spring break vacation package three times and finally took their trip just last week. It was a long overdue magical experience!

If you aren't able to travel this October, I hope you're able to schedule a visit during the 18-month long 50th-anniversary celebration. There is so much excitement on the horizon, from attraction openings to new nighttime entertainment. While you dream of your next vacation, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog and planDisney on social media to be part of this momentous year. Thanks so much for sending your question our way, and hopefully we'll see ya real soon!
