Overview Shot of Disneyland

I have an enchated Magic Key and I want to book August 24th. My access calendar says I am allowed to book at that time, but on the reservation page for the whole month of August is "unavailable." Are those dates not released yet?

    Hi Ryan!

"Who's a member of the club, that's as cool as it can be? R! Y! A! N! Who's super jealous, oh it's me." I don't have 110% confirmation of the above, but it's possible that that could have been the official song of the Disneyland Magic Key annual pass program. (We don't know that it almost was, but we also don't know that it almost wasn't, either.)

Have you enjoyed being a member of the inaugural class of Keyholders?? I see what you're saying, the Magic Key access calendar is a bit wonky. We sadly don't have any information as to what is going on. Part of me wonders if this has anything to do with possible renewal dates and info that hasn't been released yet. In the past with Annual Passes, you could renew once you were within a 30 or 45-day window from your expiration date. If that were to also be true now, then park pass reservations would need to be available for those ending their yEAR, those renewing, and also those newly purchasing passes. Which I also do not have any information about either, but we're all crossing our fingers for an update straight from Mickey himself soon.

Your best bet might be to reach out to a Cast Member in the chat section of the Disneyland Mobile App to see if they have any more insight. That can be found by opening the app, clicking the icon that looks like three stacked lines, and then scrolling down to the last box that says 'Chat With Us.' If you don't get a Cast Member right away, you can leave your question and they'll answer it later as they get to you. You'll even get a push notification if you've left the app! There's also the official Disneyland Magic Key Instagram account. They may not have released any information yet, but I bet if other keyholders are having the same issue they're adding comments to any and every post made by the page.

I'm so sorry that I don't have a more helpful answer, Ryan. Feel free to write us back in a few weeks to see if we have an update. Or better yet, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Instagram account as well as the official planDisney Instagram account as I'm sure we'll also release the news once we know. And thank you again for stopping by! You'll always have a friend in us!
