How to enable my kids to have access to the MyDisneyExperience app, so they can use the Gennie+ app for our upcoming trip to DisneyWorld?

Hey Timothy, and welcome to planDisney!

A Walt Disney World Resort is in your future; I think it is time to celebrate and start the countdown!

I have a teen who longs to access our vacation plans when we travel. Luckily, "any Guest age 13 and older who does not have a Disney account may create an account at any time". So if you have children who are ages 13 and up, they can have their very own My Disney Experience account. To create the account using the app, scroll down to your profile and select "Family & Friends List" and "Add a Guest." You can find them through your connected guests, enter their names and ages, or scan their linking code (if they have one). I prefer entering the name and ages manually to ensure everything is included. Once the account is created, you will need to have them added to your Family & Friends List so that everyone has access to the Disney Genie+ selections and the rest of your plans. If you have issues with creating the account, I recommend calling 407-939-4357 to speak with a cast member who will be able to assist you.

Please let us know if you have further questions prior to your arrival.

    Have a magical experience!
