Hi there, Terry!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! Isn’t it exciting that you can say, “I’m going to Walt Disney World Resort NEXT month!”?!?! I don’t know about you, but once I get to that point, it’s all I can think about and I eagerly count down the days until vacation time!
Walt Disney World Resort does an excellent job of welcoming and accommodating Guests will all different needs, ensuring that everyone has a magical and memorable visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth”.
Service animals are defined as “a dog or miniature horse that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, an individual with a disability.” Service animals are permitted in most areas throughout the theme parks and Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and service animals must remain on a leash and under the control of their owners at all time. At this time, however, emotional support dogs are not covered under this category and are not permitted in the theme parks and most of the Resort Hotels.
If you are looking for a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you can bring your dog with you, the following
resorts are dog-friendly:
Disney Art of Animation Resort
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
I hope this information is helpful in planning your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Terry. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you may have.
