Hi Emma You have been to Disney World at various time throughout the year. Just wondered what is the best time of year to go - weather wise. I don't particularly want to be there during tropical storms or hurricans.. Thanks

    Hi Hilary,

Hurricane season in Orlando generally runs from the beginning of June to the end of November. Although it is impossible to predict the weather, I can tell you that my family have visited many times during the last week of September and first week of October and have always experienced a minimal amount of rain and lovely warm weather in and around the 80's and 90's.

Another advantage of travelling at this time of year is that because most children have returned to school there will be fairly low crowds which means the lines are usually much smaller. Free Dining has also been offered at this time of the year in the past which makes it a very economical time to visit.

I would also perhaps consider travelling during early November. Whilst temperature variations are possible at any time of the year, November is usually quite moderate with minimal rainfall and average temperatures in the 70s.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
