Hi Emma N (UK) We are going back to WDW in Nov/Dec 2011. After watching the you tube fillming that Phil does when you go. Did you go and see the Mickeys Merry Christmas Party? And was is worth watching

Hi Hilary and welcome to the Mom's Panel!

I'm so glad to hear that you have enjoyed watching our videos and am very excited to hear that you are considering attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during your next visit to Walt Disney World.

My family didn't attend the party during our trip last December as they had already finished prior to our arrival but, I was lucky enough to be able to experience this fantastic special event with lots of other members of the Mom's Panel during our 2010 training weekend.

The party really is a lot of fun and is a must-do as far as I am concerned for anyone visiting whilst they are offered. Highlights of the party include watching Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes, seeing the Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle and being on Main Street U.S.A. whilst the magical snow is falling.

If you do decide to attend the party during your visit, I would recommend that you choose a weekday as the parties offered at the weekend are very popular with local people and do tend to have increased crowd levels.

Finally, as you are visiting during the holidays, I would also schedule some time for checking out the beautiful christmas decorations on display at the Disney Resorts. In particular, be sure to visit the amazing gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the gingerbread carousel at Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge which truly captures the spirit of the season.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories that will last a lifetime!
