Emma, Your family must endure some pretty long flights when you come from the UK to Florida. What suggestions do you have for keeping little ones entertained on the plane for such long periods of time?

    Hi JoAnn,

We sure do - nine and a half hours on our outward journey and then seven and a half hours when travelling back home.

I can't lie, it is not something that we look forward to but that said, we always get through it without too much of a problem.

I always pack my son his own carry on bag for the flight and inside his bag I usually pack:-

    Plain Paper
Printed Disney activity sheets which you can download from the Disney website HERE
    Crayons
    Stickers
A couple of his favourite books
iPad/Nintendo DS (or other electronic games console)
Snacks and not forgetting his favourite Pluto plush who travels everywhere with us!

These tend to keep him entertained for the majority of the flight along with watching programmes on the TV and eating meals.

If you could get your little ones to have a sleep on the way then that would be amazing but we have never managed it to date - always far too excited to sleep!

I hope that this information has been of help and wish you a magical trip!
