Hi Emma, going to Disney for honeymoon. I won't be able to change my name before I go so when booking our meals on the disney dining plan/checking into the hotel is there anyway that we can make a note that we are on honeymoon?or use my married name? Thanks

    Hi Faye,

    Congratulations on your upcoming Wedding!

You will firstly need to obtain your US confirmation number from the Company with whom you have booked your holiday with in order to make your Advanced Dining Reservations online and to complete online check-in prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World.

Once you have this information, if you click on the "My Reservations" tab (located just underneath where it says PARKS) on the Walt Disney World website and enter your US confirmation number along with the lead passenger surname, the computer system will retrieve your accommodation booking.

Online check-in can be completed from 10 days prior to your arrival date. You can check-in online by clicking on "Online check-in" under "My Disney Vacation" on the Walt Disney World website home page. (If you get re-directed to the UK version of the website then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and where it says 'Select an International Version' click on the drop down bar and select 'USA: English' and then 'Go')

Advance dining reservations can be made for the first 10 days of your stay at 180 days prior to your visit. Just be sure to click on "I want to use my dining plan to book reservations" on the Make Dining Reservations page of the Walt Disney World website.

You can have the fact that you will be on your honeymoon noted against your reservation when you check-in online and don't forget to pick up some Happily Ever After badges on your arrival to wear throughout your visit.

I wouldn't worry too much about the fact that all of the reservations will be made in your maiden name. I can't think of any reason why this would cause you any problems at all.

Wishing a magical honeymoon filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
