Hi Emma, when I asked my question regarding the DDP I mentioned points...I guess it is credits that people mention. Do people get credits for using the DDP? I am just trying to figure out if the DDP is worth it or not!!

    Hi Alisha,

    Now I understand!

The regular Disney Dining Plan includes one (1) Quick-Service Meal, one (1) Snack, and one (1) Table-Service Meal per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages 3 and over. These are often referred to as meal entitlements or meal credits.

If for example you were planning a 3-night stay, you would receive three (3) Quick-Service meal credits, three (3) Snacks and three (3) Table-Service meal credits per person ages 3 and over to be used in total during your stay.

You can use your meals and snacks in any order that you like throughout your package stay until your total is depleted and all unused meals and snacks expire at midnight on your package reservation checkout date.

The majority of the the Table-Service restaurants which participate in the Disney Dining Plan require one (1) Table-Service meal credit per person but some Signature restaurants, Dinner Shows, Dining Events & Cinderella's Royal Table require two (2) Table-Service meal credits per person.

You can find out lots more information about the regular Disney Dining Plan in the 2011 brochure which you can see HERE including how many Table-Service meal credits are required at each participating restaurant.

My family LOVE to use the Disney Dining Plan when we visit and really feel that if you will be having at least one Table-Service meal each day that it is definitely worth it and will save you money.

I hope that this has answered your question. If you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan or anything else for that matter, please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again and ask me another question.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
