Emergency!!! My husband hurt his knee and will probably need surgery, (after vacation) he says he does NOT WANT TO GO and stay home and the rest of us go without him.. are there motorized scooters available? and the cost? He is a very large guy, HELP!!!

Oh no! A knee injury just prior to a trip to Walt Disney World is not good. I'm so sorry about your husband's impairment.

Your husband does not want to miss this special time with his family. If you suffer a mobility issue, Walt Disney World is incredibly accommodating. Take a look at the Guests with Mobility Disabilities page to get an idea of how your spouse can enjoy the parks with a bad knee. Information about Electric Convenience Vehicle rentals is also available on this page. The cost is fifty dollars a day for use in the theme parks. If you believe your husband will need a scooter outside the parks as well, independent companies offer rentals that can be delivered to your hotel. Just google scooter rentals Orlando to find a list.

I so hope your whole family comes to Walt Disney World for a magical vacation. Please tell your husband the WDW Moms Panel wants him to be a part of his family's memories and great times.
