What are the embroidery rules when purchasing Mickey ears? I would like to put my children's names on my hat and grandchildren names on my wife's. Is this possible?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise!

Mickey Mouse Ear Hats make fantastic souvineEARs! I think you have an excellent idea to put the names of your children and grandchildren on these iconic hats.

As of my last visit to The Chapeau, my favorite Magic Kingdom shop to have a Mickey Mouse Ear Hat personalized, you could choose from two options for embroidery service. The Basic Ear Hat Name Embroidery included one name and three color options for $3. The Premium Embroidery let you choose between two fonts and nine color options with a maximum of two lines. Each line had a maximum character allotment of 16 and cost $7 per line.

I hope this works out for you because what a photo you could have in front of Cinderella Castle wearing your new ears! Be sure to seek out a Disney PhotoPass Service photographer as they may be able to offer a magic shot to make the image even more magical! Please visit us again should additional questions arise!

    Happy Planning!
