Hi there, Courtney!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am SO EXCITED for your family to experience everything wonderful that awaits you onboard. My family sailed onboard the Disney Dream recently for the first time and it *hopefully* won’t be our last! My boys are still asking to go back to
Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats for some of their delicious treats!
When you completed your Online Check-In, you should have been able to select a Port Arrival Time which is when you will want to arrive at Port Canaveral for check-in and registration. Once you complete registration there you will receive a boarding card with a number on it. Once Disney Cruise Line begins inviting Guests onboard you will need to wait until your group is called to board. Boarding typically will begin anywhere from 11:30 – 12:30 – just in time to board and grab lunch! My family always heads straight for Cabanas after embarking to fill our tummies while waiting for our stateroom to be ready. Staterooms are usually ready around 1:30PM and your luggage will magically appear outside your stateroom throughout the afternoon.
Reservations are not necessary for the Youth Clubs unless you will be utilizing the onboard nursery which is reserved for those Guests under three. If you registered your Mouseketeers for the Youth Clubs during your
Online Check-In, they are good to go and will receive their Oceaneer Bands when you arrive for embarkation. If your littles are like mine, they will LOVE the onboard Youth Clubs and never want to leave!
Wishing you a magical and DREAMy adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
