Welcome to planDisnry David!
A British Isles cruise sounds magical! It is certainly nice to be able to go explore the world again, particularly when sailing with Captain Mickey and the crew!
While booking a
Port Adventure is always an option, you certainly may explore on your own. If not on a Port Adventure booked through your Disney Cruise, you will need to provide your own transportation at your port. If booking an excursion independently through a third party, contact them on how to meet up with your travel group. When planning to simply plan to hop off the ship and explore, stop by the
Port Adventures desk to see if they have any tips on public transportation such as taxis or buses.
Most importantly, be safe and know your "all aboard" time! The ship will leave at its designated time, and you don't want to watch from the dock as everyone sails away! Give yourself
plenty of time to return to your ship.
Before leaving home, please read through
Know Before You Go. Safety and health protocols are continually changing so having the latest information will make your boarding process smooth sailing! I find the
Pre-Cruise Checklist to be super helpful just to make sure I don't forget anything.
With your cruise just a few months away, it is time to let the countdown begin! Let me be the first to say BON VOYAGE!
