Hi! I got email about pre-purchasing photopass cd and Disney PhotoBook. My? is do I have to pay extra to download the pics I want for the Photobook? or will I be using the pics from the cd? Coming Oct 27th, should we only get cd? or both? Thank you

We just received the photobook we ordered from our last vacation and I can't tell you how pleased I am with it.

To answer your question, the book and the CD are really two separate things.  If you would like to purchase a book, but not the CD, you are under no obligation to do so.  Here's what you'll do: during your trip, be sure to take full advantage every time you see a PhotoPass photographer.  They'll give you a card (much like a credit card) after they photograph you for the first time.  Be sure to save that card!  Each time you have a photo taken give the card to the PhotoPass photographer and they will add your photos onto that one card.  Then, once you get home, log on to the PhotoPass site.  You will be prompted to enter the number(s) from the back of your card (s).  If you end up with more than one card you can just combine them to one account when you get home.  From there, you can enhance the photos, crop them, and even upload a limited number of your own personal photos that you took with your camera.  Once you have all of your pictures ready to go, you'll start "building" a photobook.  It's a lot of fun!  And when you are finished with the checkout process, all you have to do is sit back and wait for your book to arrive.  You can then go back and purchase the CD if you'd like, but you don't have to in order to use the PhotoPass photos from your trip.  Obviously you don't have to pay any extra to use the PhotoPass photographs to create your photobook either.   Hope that helps!
