Hi Elizabeth, I have a couple of dining questions. Where are your favorite quick service eats in each park and DTD? Also, I keep hearing we MUST try the carrot cake cookies, but where are they? Thanks again!

Hi Belinda! I'm glad you are planning and researching your visit to Mickey so well. All your prep will help you get the most bang for your buck and assure your granddaughter a magical time.

Downtown Disney has very few quick service options. My top choice would be Wolfgang Puck's Express, but this spot is pricey. Earl of Sandwich is a great, less expensive option if you are not on the Disney Dining Plan.

Be Our Quest is the most fabulous quick service restaurant in all of Walt Disney World. This French influenced eatery is only open for counter service at lunch; dinner is a reservations only, sit down affair. Expect a line, but the excellent food, detailed theming, and stunning setting are worth the wait. My other top choices for the Magic Kingdom are spots that offer air conditioned seating such as Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and Pinocchio Village Haus but the menu offerings are standard fare. Columbia Harbor House is a great choice is you like seafood.

Epcot's Future World has Sunshine Seasons, a lovely food court with fresh, innovative options. The recently relocated and upgraded Boulangerie Patisserie has reasonable prices for a theme park and splendid French food. Stop by L'Artisan des Glaces for a scoop of ice cream afterwards. If your family is up for a slightly exotic meal try the Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco Pavilion.

Disney's Animal Kingdom's Yak and Yeti has a good counter service option and Flame Tree Barbecue is another delicious option.

For a good meal at Disney's Hollywood Studios try Starring Rolls Cafe or the ABC Commissary. The food at Toy Story Pizza Planet is typical pizza but the theming is fun is your granddaughter is a Toy Story fan. Head to the Writer's Stop for the scrumptious carrot cake cookies. These sweet treats have a cult following!

Hope to hear from you again as you continue to plan.
