Elisabeth, thanks for the advice! As for hotels, were staying at AKL prior to party but need to add a room for night of party. Thinking of either staying at AKL, or switching to Contemporary (convenience) or AOA (Big Blue pool). Thoughts? Thank u!!

Sara, thank you for sending me a question directly. I love to hear back from guests!

An extra night at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the hassle free way to stay, but a split stay allows you to experience two fun and fabulous resorts during one vacation. If you are willing to pack up your sippy cups, socks, and Mickey t-shirts, Bell Services will move your luggage to your second resort.

If you do decide to try a second resort, consider convenience over pool fun. Sometimes November weather can be cool and cloudy in central Florida. With only a one day window to splash and play in the Big Blue Pool you are at risk of not even getting the chance to stick your toes in the water. You might want to save AOA for a longer, warm weather visit. Disney's Contemporary Resort is only minutes from the Magic Kingdom making for almost effortless travel between your room and the park. Plus the Contemporary has two pools and a children's water play area for you to enjoy if the weather is seventy-eight degrees and sunny.

Of course, I love sharing my thoughts about any aspect of Walt Disney World. Please contact me if you have more questions in the next few months.
