    During our trip, there will be people staying on-site and off-site. When are we eligible to book Genie+ selections each day?

    Welcome to planDisney, Julie!  I am glad you stopped by with your question.

    With Disney Genie+ service, Guests can reserve Lightning Lane access to over 40 rides and attractions, one at a time.  All Guests, no matter where they are staying, may book their first Lightning Lane attraction included with Disney Genie+ at 7:00 am.  Subsequent Lightning Lane attractions can be booked after redeeming the first, or every 2 hours beginning 2 hours after park opening time, whichever comes first.

    The difference between on-site and off-site Guests is only when purchasing Individual Lightning Lane attractions.  Guests who are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Shades of Green, or the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin hotels may purchase Individual Lightning Lane attractions at 7:00 am.  All other Guests may purchase beginning at the scheduled park opening time.  Currently, Individual Lightning Lane attractions are:

    • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
    • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
    • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
    • Avatar Flight of Passage

    Individual Lightning Lanes are purchased a la carte.  Disney Genie+ service is not required to purchase Individual Lightning lane attractions.  Up to two Individual Lightning Lane attractions may be purchased per Guest per day.
