    So my eleven year old son isn't excited to go to disney during easter week April 2012 off-site at Caribe Royal Orlando. Anything ideas on what to tell him to make him excited? What is there for him to do to make his trip more enjoyable?

    Hi Domingo,

    There will be lots of cool things that your son will enjoy especially if he is a thrill seeker. Make sure you include him in the planning of your trip. Look at the attractions online together so that he gets an idea of what to expect. That sometimes makes tweens feel more involved & gets them more excited.  Here are some things he might enjoy:

    Downtown Disney
    * DisneyQuest
    * Characters in Flight
    * Ridemakerz

    Magic Kingdom
    * Space Mountain (there is an arcade as you exit)
    * Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    * Splash Mountain
    * Buzz Lightyear's Span Ranger Spin (this may look like its for younger kids but everyone I know loves this ride & becomes very competitive trying to get the highest score)

    Epcot
    * Soarin'
    * Test Track
    * Mission: SPACE
    * The Sum of All Thrills at Innoventions East

    Disney's Hollywood Studios
    * Toy Story Mania (everyone loves this attraction)
    * Star Tours
    * Tower of Terror
    * Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
    * Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show
    * Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

    Animal Kingdom
    * Expedition Everest
    * Dinosaur
    * Primeval Whirl
    * Kilimanjaro Safaris
    * Kali River Rapids
    Wild Africa Trek - this is a special experience & is not included in the cost of theme park admission.

    He may really enjoy one of the water parks. Typhoon Lagoon has a ginormous wave pool & some intense water slides. They also offer Surf Lessons at Typhoon Lagoon.

    Let us know if you need details on any of these. Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
