My elementary school-aged child has a WDW Annual Pass, but I don't have one right now. Can we use my child's Annual Pass for free parking at the theme parks?

Welcome back to planDisney, Jennifer! Thanks so much for sending us another question. I bet you're so excited to be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth in less than three weeks!!

Your little Mouseketeer has a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, but you don't? Do they know that you're the best mom ever?! I'm happy to say that each Walt Disney World Annual Pass comes with amazing benefits, regardless of the age of the Passholder! One of those benefits is that Standard theme park parking is included and you will just need to present the annual pass to enjoy this perk. You can also choose to enjoy preferred parking by paying the difference in cost between standard parking and preferred parking. The difference is currently $20-$25 per day, depending on your day of visit.

I'm not sure if your plans include checking out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, but I highly recommend it! The Foodie Guide was just released on Disney Parks Blog and I'm already making my list for the Outdoor Kitchens I want to visit. The Garden Rocks Concert Series and the beautiful gardens and topiary displays are just a few more reasons to visit this fun festival that will be in full bloom starting next week! A tip I have for you is to check with the Cast Members at the Outdoor Kitchens to see if they are offering a discount on the day you visit. While there isn't a guarantee, an annual pass discount was offered on Tuesdays during the EPCOT International Festival of Holidays this past December when I visited. It never hurts to ask!

I'm wishing you a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World Resort during The World's Most Magical Celebration! If you have any additional questions as you're planning, please visit us again at planDisney. We're always happy to help!

    Happy Planning!
