Hi there, Thomas!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you will be headed on the beautiful Disney Dream! While I am sure you are already planning on it, be sure you don’t miss the live “Beauty and Beast” show in the Walt Disney Theatre; everything about it is simply wonderful!
I love that you asked about electrical outlets in the staterooms as my husband always wonders the same thing; and he’s especially curious about the location in proximity to the beds! While it’s not usually something I would think of, it’s certainly useful information to have! Onboard the
Disney Dream there are typically three US and 2 European outlets in the vanity/desk area and one US and one European outlet on the nightstand by the bed. Of course, there may be slight variation by stateroom, but this is what you can expect for your stateroom. Please note that surge protectors, power strips and extension cords are listed on the
prohibited items list so leave those at home! I also always like to note that a hair dryer can be found in the drawer of the desk area, so you can leave that at home too!
Make certain you have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded prior to setting sail. On it you will find lots and lots of useful information including schedules of entertainment, menus and deck plans! One of my favorite features of it is that you can mark activities you don’t want to miss and will receive a reminder notification about 15-minutes prior to the activity so you don’t miss it!
Have the best time at sea, Thomas! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
