Welcome to planDisney, Doris! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
It sounds like you have an awesome visit to Walt Disney World with your granddaughter in the works. How exciting! There is something for everyone at the Vacation Kingdom of the World, and I’m sure you are both going to have a magical time.
Unfortunately, an item like the one you're describing is not allowed at Walt Disney World.
The Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules has a prohibited items list, which includes, “Any trailer-like object that is pushed, pulled or towed by an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair, stroller or person.” If you have additional questions about the policy or your specific situation, I’d suggest chatting with a friendly Cast Member on the
Non-Reservation Support line. They’ll be happy to assist you. Walt Disney World also has additional resources for guests with mobility needs, which you can find
here.
As you plan your upcoming trip, make sure you visit the
planDisney video library and Instagram for tips and tricks on visiting with your little Mouseketeer. You can also filter attractions on the
Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience mobile app by age, height restrictions, and interests. This is a great way to quickly find attractions and experiences that are a good fit for your granddaughter.
Doris, I hope this information is helpful and that you have a great vacation. Pop right back if you have any other trip planning questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
