    Hello. I will have a electric scooter and see that the Epcot monorail is not in service. How do I get to Epcot from Grand Floridian? If bus, can bus accommodate the electric scooter like the monorail?

    A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your wondEARful question about Walt Disney World Resort transportation options.

    Daniel, I am happy to report that as of July 18, 2021, the Epcot Monorail system is back in service! If you are traveling from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Epcot via Monorail, you will need to first travel to the Transportation & Ticket Center and then switch to the Epcot Monorail line.

    For future reference, electric scooters can most definitely be accommodated in the Walt Disney World Resort buses! There is an accessible entrance and ramp on all buses. You will not even need to step off of your electric scooter to enter the bus. It is of utmost importance to comfortably and safely accommodate all Guests in Walt Disney World Resort. Isn’t that magical, Daniel?
