    electric outlets in the parks??

    It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda! Thanks so much for coming by today with your electrifying question.

    Your My Disney Experience app is going to be such a valuable tool for you when you're on vacation, so it's really important to keep your phone charged and ready to go. I'm sure you're like me and also use your phone as your camera, so you definitely don't want it to power down in the middle of the day when you still have so many memories to capture! There are some outlets in the Theme Parks, but they are mostly located in and around dining locations. Keep your eyes open when you're looking for a table because you may be able to find one close to an outlet so you can plug in your phone when you're eating. Please do not move any furniture to get to an outlet or unplug anything that is already plugged in. Magic Kingdom Park does have a couple of spots where you can charge your phone on the go, so plug it into one of the outlets that's hidden inside a tree stump outside of the Tangled-themed restrooms between Fantasyland and Liberty Square, or check out the tent next to Pete's Silly Sideshow by Dumbo the Flying Elephant to find charging ports that work with USB as well as normal plugs.

    Because it's not a guarantee that you'll be able to find a plug that is not in use by another guest, I recommend that you bring along a charging pack or backup power source for your phone. I always like to travel with at least one in my backpack so I know that I'll always be able to re-charge if I need to! There are even some kiosks in the Theme Parks where you can purchase a reusable portable phone charger, and when it has charged your phone you can swap it out at any of the kiosks for another fully-charged one. The portable charger even comes with all the cords you might need to power up pretty much any device, so it's a really convenient option if you need some juice right away!
