How do I elect to skip housekeeping for my upcoming stay at All Star Sports?

    Hi Nancy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! September will be a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort as both Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is scheduled for selected nights AND the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing! The first is a separately ticket event where both Guests and Characters don their Halloween best and enjoy all of the wonders that Magic Kingdom Park has to offer after the park has closed. The second is a bite-sized culinary journey around the World Showcase where 25+ outdoor kitchens will serve tapas-size eats, most of which count for a single Disney Dining Plan snack entitlement!

All of Disney's Value and Moderate Resort Hotels participate in Disney's 'Service Your Way' program, which is where guests can decline daily Mousekeeping service to their Disney Resort Hotel Room. In exchange to declining the light housekeeping, guests will receive a gift card in the amount of $10 per resort night minus one. (The minus one accounts for the cleaning the room will receive upon check-out.) So a five-night stay would be a $40 gift card, a seven-night stay would be a $60, etc.

Guests who would like to opt-in for this offer should mention so upon check-in. If you plan to utilize Disney's Resort Hotel Online Check-in, one member of your party can swing by the front desk at any point of your check-in day to make the request. Do note that this option is for all nights of your stay, but that you are more than welcome to request new towels and room amenities as needed.

We'll See You Real Soon, Nancy!
