I am elderly and my illness depends on the day. How do I plan without losing money

Hello there, Linda! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by with your question about your upcoming visit.

I am excited to hear you are planning to visit Disneyland Resort soon. I understand that you need the flexibility to be able to go on a day when you are feeling your best. I am happy to share that if you have purchased a ticket and made a theme park reservation you have the flexibility to change your reservations as often as you need during the validity of your ticket.

This means if you purchased a ticket and made a reservation for tomorrow and then you wake up tomorrow and are not feeling well, it's okay not to go on your reservation day. After tomorrow is over, that reservation disappears and you can make a new theme park reservation for another day. You can go in and cancel your reservation if you know in advance that you will not be able to make that date. The only thing to note is if your ticket is a 1-day ticket, it will be labeled a specific tier. When you go to rebook you will only have the option to make reservations for days that are equal to or less than the tier of your current ticket.

Linda, I hope this gives you peace of mind that you will have some flexibility and options once you purchase your ticket should your plans change. We want to make sure you can visit on a day when you can enjoy all the magic that Disneyland Resort has to offer.
