Hello - Can you elaborate on the Electric Water Pageant? Visiting in late November, early December. Will it still take place then? Best location for viewing, time it starts, etc. Thanks,

    Hi Keith,

The Electrical Water Pageant is a nightly display of lights that sails its way around the Seven Seas Lagoon each night, weather permitting. It was originally designed for the dedication of the Polynesian Luau back in 1971.   It's basically a parade of floating barges set to Disney music.  Each barge has screen of lights and displays different creatures from under the sea, ending with patriotic finale.  It's cute, whimsical and nostalgic.

The parade generally starts around 9:00 p.m. at the Polynesian and makes it's way past Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness and Contemporary Resort by about 10:00 p.m.  On nights when the Magic Kingdom Fireworks are scheduled for 9:00 p.m., the pageant start time is a bit later.  Anywhere near the beach or docks of any of these resorts is a great location to see the show.  If there are Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom, the pageant will also float by Magic Kingdom, so you can see it right by the docks near the entrance to the park.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
