Hi Gloria!
The Walt Disney World Water Parks are one of our favorite parts about visiting Walt Disney World!
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park undergo refurbishment in the off season, which is usually fall/winter. They alternate schedules so at least one park is always open. They will both be open all summer long, so your trip in June will have even more options for things to do!
My kids are big fans of Typhoon Lagoon since the addition of the newest family attraction,
Miss Adventure Falls. This attraction is open to guests of all ages, even the little ones! My kids also love the main attraction, the
Surf Pool. You will be amazed when you hear the woosh of the wave and see it appear as it rolls its way to the shallow end. It really is so much fun!
Over at Blizzard Beach, have a go at
Summit Plummet with an almost vertical drop. My tween likes to spend time at the
Ski Patrol Training Camp, which is home to several fun attractions to children who are in the in-between ages of toddler and big kids.
Don't forget to stop for a snack at the
mini donut hut! You'll find these delicious treats only at the Disney water parks.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
