Hello there, Amanda!
Welcome to planDisney. You sound like my type of park goer! I always visit with a small list of must-try treats. Coincidentally,
Storybook Treats was on my dad’s must-visit list!
He and I spent most of our visit splitting snacks throughout the World Showcase earlier in the day. Towards the evening, we hopped over to Magic Kingdom specifically to enjoy an evening ride on
Tron. Before we made it that way, we stopped for a sweet treat to pass the time.
We ended up sharing the Rapunzel Sundae. I can confirm that it had fresh berries on it. I’m not too sure about the actual DOLE Whip ingredients, so I recommend asking for the ingredients before ordering. My son has a dairy allergy, so I’m familiar with asking for the list of ingredients. And the Cast Members are so great, they always have the book of ingredients close by so that you can review them yourself.
Since that treat does have berries, I’m more than happy to leave you with a few alternative sweet treat recommendations. Creating your own popcorn mix at
Main Street Confectionery is both fun and delicious! We actually got ours on the way out of our last park day and ate it on the road trip home. I also love a stop at
Aloha Isle. Fun Fact: The Pineapple DOLE Whip is dairy-free! Another great, and cold, option can be at
Sunshine Tree Terrace. My daughter actually prefers a Dole Whip Orange Cup over a classic pineapple.
Amanda, I hope this answers your question so that you can find a treat to enjoy while visiting Magic Kingdom. If there’s anything else we can help with, you know where to find us.
Enjoy!
Shantel
