Going either the 2nd last week in oct or thanksgiving week in 2020. Is there any special tickets events or extra early/late magic hours like the ticketed fantasy land early morning hours at any of the parks?

    Hi Hallie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again! I am delighted to see that you are planning a fall trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

One of my favorite ticketed events is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Between Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, the special character interactions, and the treats, this party is good for the ghoulish soul. Keep your eye on Special Event Ticket updates as you plan. Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland allows you fantastic early access to some of my family's favorite attractions. As of now, we have available dates through the end of September.

Although not a separately ticketed event, I have to recommend the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival. There are so many special activities to cultivate your culinary appreciation - consider attending one of the Celebrity Chef events. Check out this Get Ready to Eat, Sip, Repeat! post on the Disney Parks Blog from last's year's festivities to get an idea of what the schedule might look like.

Late November is probably one of my favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort because the winter holiday decorations just make me happy. Depending on your exact dates, you may be able to experience the Candlelight Processional which started at the end of November last year. Although it historically is not a paid event, we always do an Epcot® International Festival of the Holidays - Candlelight Processional Dining Package to make sure we have seats for the show. My girls and I adore this experience because the music and storytelling are just spectacular. And, finally, one of our absolute favorite events is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Last year's party dates were announced in early April.

Hallie, more event details will soon be released, but I hope that this gives you a good place to start! Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for special announcements and review the park hours for the dates of your visit. While it might be fun to get your costume planning on and settle in for a wickedly good time at Mickey's Not-So Scary Halloween Party, I will always cherish the memory of watching the Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade with my girls for the very first time. Hard choices await you my friend. Sending pixie dust as you decide!

    Magic and memories,
