    Does an eight (8) year old need to have a covid test prior entering the park

     Welcome to planDisney, Yvette. We're so glad you stopped by with this great question! It looks like your visit to the Disneyland Resort is quickly approaching. How exciting! Let's chat about what you need to make sure you're all set for pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks.

     At this time, COVID testing is encouraged, but not mandatory. So, to answer your question, your 8-year old will not need to present negative test results in order to enter the theme parks. Be sure to review the Returning to a Land of Magic page on the Disneyland Resort website. There you'll find lots of important information on the health and safety measures that are being taken in the theme parks. Among the top things you should know is that Theme Park Reservations are required in addition to valid admission. Additionally, face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) in all indoor locations, regardless of vaccination status. It's a good idea to download the official Disneyland app ahead of your visit. The convenient features will maximize the magic you experience!

     Your visit is the perfect time to experience all the happy hauntings in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You're sure to have a spellbinding time!
