    Hi! My eight year old daughter and I will be visiting WDW in May. I have read a little bit about the New Orleans cruise around the park. How do you arrange for trip.

    Hi Caterina! Thank you for checking with us about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation questions.

    I am a little confused on your request as Walt Disney World does not offer something that is called a New Orleans cruise around a park. I checked with Disneyland as well thinking perhaps they had such an offer but they do not.

    The Port Orleans resort which consists of the Riverside and French Quarter locations do offer a cruise to Disney Springs during the day and evening hours. This allows those guests to reach this fabulous part of Disney World without having to take a bus. They can board the boats at their resort and it will wind it's way through the waterways until you see Disney Springs. This mode of transportation is complimentary to Disney resort guests. Please note that it does not go to any park but simply between the resorts and Disney Springs which is the ultimate dining and shopping area on property.

    The only other option I could think of that might be what you were referring to is the new Ferrytale Wishes Fireworks cruise. It is a dessert cruise held on one of Disney's large ferry boats which reminds all of the old time riverboats of the south. Advance reservations are required and the cost is $99 for adults and $69 for ages 3-9. You can obtain reservations on line at DisneyWorld.com/DINE or call 407-939-3463.
