Hi, Margaret! Disney World is a great vacation for parties of all sizes and all budgets! There are definitely some ways you can have a magical vacation without breaking your budget.
-Try to book when there is a promotion being offered. Click
HERE for current special offers. Currently, there is a deal that includes FREE dining! You can't beat that!
-By staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, your airport transportation and all your bus, monorail, and boat transportation around property is included! That means no rental car - a huge savings!
-Bring along refillable sports bottles. By refilling your own bottles, you will save on expensive bottled water throughout the day. Free cups of ice water are available at counter service locations. Other items to bring from home: notebooks (to use as autograph books), pens, and rain ponchos.
-Grab a light breakfast (muffin, cereal bar, fruit) then schedule a buffet lunch. This can be your main meal of the day, and you can grab light counter service meal for dinner. Booking lunch buffets are generally cheaper than dinner, and everyone can eat as much as they want! This should avoid having to pay for 3 full meals each day (portions at WDW are usually quite large, 3 full meals a day would be a LOT of food!)
-Set a budget for souvenirs. Let each child know they have so much money to spend and they can buy their souvenirs on the last day or 2 of your vacation. That way they can figure out exactly what they want and they have something to look forward to!
As you start booking your vacation, let us know if you have any more questions we can help you with. Good luck!
