Greetings, Rob! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
I have used Disney Gift Cards in all sorts of ways while visiting the parks so I’d be happy to help you out! You can use your Disney eGift Card by presenting the barcode on your mobile device to the cashier, printing out the barcode and bringing the paper with you, or by transferring your balance to a physical gift card on
www.DisneyGiftCard.com. Personally, I prefer having a physical gift card or a print out of the barcode just because it makes things a little easier when it comes to checking out. There have been times when the barcode for my eGift Card wouldn’t load because I had poor cell service, so I was glad I had a back up to use instead.
You’ll be glad to know that your Disney Gift Card can be used to purchase theme park tickets, Disneyland Resort Hotel accommodations, and merchandise and food inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You can also use your gift card at certain Disney-owned stores in the
Downtown Disney District. I like to purchase Disney Gift Cards in advance of my trip to help me budget certain amounts for dining and souvenirs. It’s a great way to keep from over-spending.
I hope this helps! Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
