    When does the egg hunt start for Disneyland this year? Trying to make our Spring break plans. Thanks!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy!

    I’m so glad you brought your question to the Moms Panel, because this information was JUST released! I’m thrilled to announce that the oh-so-popular Egg-stravaganza scavenger hunt is back, and will take place April 5-21, 2019, at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District. Each location features a unique hunt! To get started, you’ll need to pick up your map and stickers at select merchandise locations, then begin searching for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney and Pixar characters. Once you spot one, place the corresponding sticker on the Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location. When you’re done hunting, return your map to a redemption location for a special surprise. Redemption locations can be found at Disney Showcase in Disneyland Park, Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure Park, and World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.  

    For a peek at the “surprise” you’ll receive after completing the hunt, check out this announcement on the Disney Parks Blog. I recommend picking out your surprise when purchasing your map so you don’t have to wait in line again after a fun-filled Disney day! (The map doesn’t have to be completed in order to receive your surprise!)
