Howdy Jennifer! Thanks so much for the excellent question!!
Unfortunately, the ECVs cannot be placed on the parking lot tram. However, most disability parking is close enough to the front entrance where the tram is not required.
If, however, you are travelling in a vehicle that does not have the appropriate disability/handicap placard, the best option may be to drop the Guest with the ECV off close to the front of the parking lot and have another Guest park the vehicle.
Aside from working to ensure each Guest has a magical experience, Disney also strives to ensure that accommodations are made for Guests when needed. For further information, visit
Guests with Disabilities – Frequently Asked Questions.
If further assistance is required while in the Theme Parks, visit Guest Relations and request a Guest Assistance Card. Guest Relations is located near the front of each Theme Park. Visit with a Guest Relations Cast Member and explain the situation of the Guest with the ECV. A Guest Assistance Card that is stamped appropriately will be provided. This service is designed to alert Cast Members about Guests who may need additional assistance. As needed and appropriate, Guests may be offered an alternative waiting area based on the attraction.
Thanks again for your question and please let me know if you need further information. Have a magical day!
