Hello, Mary!
Welcome, and thanks for sending us your question. I hope you’re looking forward to all the magic that awaits you at the Happiest Place on Earth next month! You’ll be visiting the Disneyland Resort just in time for the debut of Pixar Pier at
Disney California Adventure Park.
Yes, your personal Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) can be used in the Downtown Disney District.
ECV rentals are also available at the Disneyland Resort in the Esplanade between the two parks. These ECVs are single-rider, 4-wheel vehicles for
Guests with mobility challenges to use throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, but they cannot be taken to the Downtown Disney District or hotels. It’s best to arrive early if you plan to rent one, because only a limited number of wheelchairs and ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to bringing your own from home, you are welcome to use an ECV that is rented via an outside company throughout the Disneyland Resort if you wish.
I hope this answers your question, Mary. Please feel free to write back with more if there is any other information you need as you continue planning your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
