Howdy Beatrice!
Welcome back to
planDisney! I know you are ready to “Make Memories to Last a Lifetime” in February! Thank you for sharing your questions with us!
Mickey and his pals have thought about almost everything while visiting “The Most Magical Place on Earth” and making your vacation “Practically Perfect” for everyone! Since you will be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort with an ECV, if you cannot wait in a conventional queue environment due to a disability, you may qualify for the
Disability Access Service. Most attractions will allow you to use your ECV during most of the duration of the queue, but you will find a few that will not allow you to drive your ECV through the queue. I recommend stopping by Guest Relations, explain your situation to the Cast Member, and the Cast Member will assist you in determining what the best option for your situation is. You will not need a doctor’s note, and just a brief explanation will work! I have placed a link in the highlighted area above to look through the Disability Access Service Fact Sheet.
Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort sounds spectacular! You will be visiting at the perfect time! Since Mickey and his pals opened their doors to guests, October 1, 1971, this October will mark 50 years of “Making Dreams Come True!” I know you are looking forward to joining in all the festivities! To stay informed of all the announcements as they are made, go to “
The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”
As you continue to plan your visit to Neverland and making decisions on using your ECV, if you have any more questions, please come back to planDisney! We are always here to help you with all your planning questions to make your vacation unforgettable, Beatrice!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
