Hey there Amy and welcome back to planDisney. I am honored to be able to help you with your Disney vacation planning question.
The Sassagoula River Cruise will gladly accommodate an ECV. In fact, it can accommodate up to two vehicles.
Water Disney World Water Transportation leaves no person behind when there is fun to be had at
Disney Springs. My recommendation: Speak with the front desk at your Disney's Port Orleans Resort and let them know what you need. They will be able to guide you to make sure you have the best experience possible. Now Disney Springs can get pretty crowded at night so if you are looking to avoid the crowds then head out (like I do) first thing in the morning. Water launches (water taxis) arrive and set sail about every 15-30 minutes. I mean, who doesn't love
Gideon's Bakehouse cookies for breakfast?
Some boats may be unable to accommodate an ECV due to configuration (boats from Magic Kingdom to the Monorail Resorts) or, believe it or not, water levels. Please speak with a Cast Member at your Resort hotel about these.
Mobility services are a priority for friends of Mickey Mouse.
Amy, I hope this helps you as you plan for an enchanted September experience at the "Place Where Dreams Come True." Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
