Howdy Hope!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask a wonderful question about your upcoming Spring visit. I hope you are having the best time ever planning all the fun you are going to have once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. It's my pleasure to be able to help you out today.
Walt Disney World is welcoming to all Guests including those with
mobility disabilities that would require them to use a wheelchair or electric conveyance vehicle (ECV ). The
Walt Disney World Railroad does require Guests to transfer from their ECV to a wheelchair in order to experience the attraction. For the bus system all bus routes are serviced by vehicles that can accommodate a wheelchair or ECV. These ECVs and wheelchairs must be able to fit in the lift without being forced and must be able to be secured on the bus using on board restraints. Buses service all Walt Disney World Resort hotels including
Disney's Pop Century Resort. ECV and wheelchairs are also welcome on the
Disney Skyliner system. Accessible gondolas can hold one ECV and up to six Guests. Isn't that wonderful?
I hope this has helped to answer your question. If you think of anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to ask. It's always fun to lend a hand to a fellow Guest.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
