    We are eating at Yachtsman Steakhouse the day we do HS since it is hard to travel from hotel to hotel (we're staying at Contemporary). We will be wearing park clothes since we are returning to HS after dinner for Fantasmic. Is this attire acceptable there?

    Hi Joani:

    Dining at Walt disney World is a fairly casual experience, so in general, a decent tee-shirt and pair of shorts will suffice.  Many Guests tend to dress up a bit more for Disney's fancier Signature Dining Experiences, such as Yachtsman Steakhouse.  You will likely see many men in khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, or collared shirts. Women tend to wear capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, or dress shorts.

    Except at Victoria & Alberts, I've never seen any dress code enforced at a Disney restaurant.  And while you may see many Guests slightly dressed up at the restaurant, you will likely find others at the restaurant who have also just come from a day at the Parks.  Since you are spending the day in the Parks and returning there after dinner, you may want to pack a light sweater, change or shirt, or jacket in a travel bag to take with you in case it's cold in the restaurant or in the Parks after dinner.
