We are eating at H & V for B on 5/27. I heard the buses don't leave POR until 30 m - 1 h prior to park opening. We were also told to give 1 1/2 h to get there. How is this possible when we would have to get into the park early for our reservation?

    Hi Kim!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Hollywood and Vine is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  All you need is the time to get to the Studios and then it is about a 10 minute walk from where the bus drops you off to Hollywood and Vine.  Buses start running an hour before the park opens.  If your breakfast is at 8:30 or later, you won't have any problems using Disney transportation from Port Orleans Riverside.  Buses run about every 20 minutes and it's only about 20 minutes, including the other stops at Port Orleans, to get to the Studios.

If you reservation is before 8:30, I suggest talking about your situation with the Disney Cast Members at the Front Desk.  Sometimes, Disney does run earlier buses; they will be able to advise you.  Worse case you will have to take a taxi, but it is a very short ride to the Studios and thus will be relatively inexpensive.

I hope this helps!  Good luck and please write back with more questions!
