we are eating at crystal palace and liberty tree tavern dinner is there certain items on the menu that we are to request with your meal plan.

    Hi Tara,

You've picked a couple of great spots for dining in Magic Kingdom. I have a reservation myself at Crystal Palace in just a couple of weeks, and I can't wait.

Both Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern are all-you-care-to-eat restaurants that charge a fixed price. So you will be able to use a Disney Dining Plan table service credit at each and choose how much or how little you want. (Liberty Tree Tavern also offers an a la carte menu at lunch. If you want to go that route, you should be able to choose any entree, dessert and nonalcoholic beverage from the menu for your table service credit.)

Crystal Palace is a buffet with a wide variety of entrees, side dishes and desserts. I always hope for the pistachio-crusted salmon when I visit for dinner. You'll be able to return to the buffet as often as you like and choose whatever you like. Bonus: Winnie the Pooh and his friends are there, too, and will visit your table during your meal.

Liberty Tree Tavern serves its all-you-care-to-eat fare family style. You'll get platters and bowls of the turkey, roast beef, pork, mashed potatoes, vegetables and more to pass among your party. They're happy to bring more of any items if your family wants more. Make sure you save room for the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert.

Now I'm hungry! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tara. I hope this clarifies the meals at Liberty Tree Tavern and Crystal Palace. Here's also a link to the details of the Disney Dining Plan for further reference. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Enjoy!
