Hi Paula!
First of all, Happy Birthday to your daughter! Chef Mickey's is always our first choice for birthday celebrations - you just can't beat the festive atmosphere. As you may have noticed, Disney has kicked off its "What Will You Celebrate" campaign. A HUGE part of this promotion is dedicated to celebrating birthdays. For instance, did you know that your daughter can get into the parks free on her birthday? For more info on all birthday celebrations and merchandise, have fun checking out the
WDW website.
While we almost always drive to WDW, we very rarely use our vehicle once we arrive. In your particular situation, you may want to drive that night to the Contemporary Resort. The busses will run up to one hour after the Magic Kingdom closes, in this case 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, you may not even be seated by this time! However, there is a Plan B. Bear in mind that this route may take a LONG time to get you back to the All-Star Resort. After dining, take the Contemporary Resort Bus to Downtown Disney. From here, hop on the bus back to your resort. The busses run back and forth from Downtown Disney until around 3:00 AM. At the end of a long day, your birthday princess might prefer a nice short car ride back to All-Stars.
Paula, I know that this answer may leave you feeling a little frustrated, but I hope that I have helped. Happy Birthday to your Birthday Girl!
Much pixie dust,
Jackie S.
