    I eat a whole food plant based diet. I will be going on the Disney Fantasy in June 2016. Will Disney be able to accommodate my dietary needs?

    Thank you for visiting with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How wonderful that you will be enjoying yourself on the Disney Fantasy this summer! You and your pirate crew will experience an unforgettable vacation on the seas enjoying fun family shows, seeing first run Hollywood movies, watching fanciful Broadway style shows, dancing at the fabulous deck parties and relaxing in the pool areas. As far as dietary needs, Disney goes above and beyond to help guests have a tasty and fun vacation. I admit that I had never heard of a whole food plant based diet, and after looking it up online I learned it was a fruit and vegetable based diet that limits dairy, meat, and processed foods. Disney Cruise Line already has gluten free, low sugar, vegetarian and dairy free options available at its table service restaurants, but I do not see your particular dietary option offered.  I think it would be best for you to contact Special Services at (407) 566-3602 Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Eastern and discuss your dietary needs. I am sure that your preferences can be considered and taken care of, but you should do this before your cruise to ensure your needs are met.
